KT Gorique was born in 1991 in Abidjan, to Ivorian and Italian parents, and moved to Switzerland at the age of eleven. She began rhyming when she was eight, dancing Hip Hop at eleven, and was the first woman, first Swiss and youngest participant ever to win the Rap battle «End of the Week» in NYC at the age of 21.
Her debut album «Tentative de Survie» launched a career spanning acting (she received the award for «Best Actress» for her role in «Brooklyn», in particular), dance and rap. She has performed in many countries, from Senegal to Canada and Europe, and is an essential part of Switzerland’s rap scene.
