Damn. Same here. I got to talk to him and even gave him another chance. He never changed. In my case I do blame him. His brothers and sisters didn't end up the same. And there's dark rumors surrounding mine. People wanted him dead, that's all I'll say. But when he died a few years ago, I didn't cry. But eventually I felt bad he didn't try and change. I wish I had a dad, obviously. But my mom did an amazing job and I'm alright. Hopefully better soon. RIP mom.
Love when artists get asked about a topic they discussed and they start reciting the verse. Artists usually express themselves better thru their art not direct conversation lol
Most rappers have dads who left at a young age. Have you noticed the pattern? Does it have anything to do with character building, growing up quickly and being fearless taking up things you might have been afraid to do?
Yo even tho ur pops left you at a young age u were able to eventually come to terms with it and forgive him and that is what growth is about and jus the fact that u chose to share that with ur audience and fans outside of music, I love u for that bro! Much Respect! Brooklyn stand up!
Pop died, didn't cry, didn't know him that well Between him doing heroin and me doing crack sales Put that in the eggshell, standing at the tabernacle Rather the church, pretending to be hurt wouldn't work So a smirk was all on my face Like, "Damn, that man's face is just like my face" So pop, I forgive you for all the shit that I lived through It wasn't all your fault, homie, you got caught Into the same game I fought, that Uncle Ray lost My big brothers and so many others I saw I'm just glad we got to see each other Talk and re-meet each other Save a place in Heaven 'til the next time we meet forever!
