I was 18 years old Freshman at Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton, Oklahoma when I heard this song for the first time.. And I can’t really remember if I heard it on the radio but I heard it and it stopped me in my tracks. That was 1972-73 and I was quarter miler on the track team.. At a Junior College you got students from all over like a University but on a smaller scale.. It was like family when you meet all your friends and these songs take me back to that time.. But in the rain has a beautiful introduction with smooth vocals and a chilling background.. Well dare to sing it I do. You had a great admiration for the groups and when Mr Banks died it was like a member of your family. He had a beautiful falsetto that was a sound all his own. He had great influence from the great Eddie Kendricks only Banks had his on sound. So pure .. To say this was the song the groups first hit no it was ‘ What you see is what you get.. Need I say more.. It kept us running in and out of the record stores buying these eight tracks and albums back then.. As you decorated your room at college with album covers.. You were away from home and your first time being on your own as a young adult. And this music by the Dramatics and many more kept you grounded and willing to succeed in life.. As you ventured out into the world for the first time.. Imagine meeting that girl for the first time and for some it was a lifetime adventure with kids and grandkids.. LB June 2022

The Dramatics. 'Nuff said. RIP Ron Banks…..playing 'tune tag' with my Partner on FB….he posted The Ronettes CLASSIC, "Walking In The Rain," I 'raised' him, Love Unlimited "Walking In The Rain With The One I Love, " now I will 'raise' him, my Crew, The Dramatics, "In The Rain," might even him w/B.J. Thomas, "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head"…we'll see. Thank you, turbo01501 for the upload of this beautiful song, and the accompanying video montage….Blessings….#keeprockin'….
I was so blessed to be born during the 70s 'Super Group Era' with the Dramatics, Chi-Lites, Enchantment, The Stylistics, The Spinners, The Dells, Blue Magic, New Birth, Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes, The Four Tops, The Temptations, The Delfonics, The O'Jays, The Whispers, The Persuaders, Tower of Power, The Intruders. That's off the top of my head because I have their albums. Now the funk bands would be another list….P-Funk, EWF, Commodores, Cameo, etc.
I was born in 1985. I thought this song originally sung by Keith Sweat. I was getting a tire changed on my lady's car when the song came on and when I heard the lyrics I was in total shock!!! Guess I still have a lot to learn about the great old school music. I love it.
That was my father's favorite song right there I was 4 years old mini helmet and was listening to that song my my mother used to tell me both of them rest in peace
The oldies remind me so much of my Dad I love you Sad ,I'm just like him we could listen to music all day .
Timeless my friends

People fight for the Black Lives Matters sham but they didn't fight for Soul Train. Smh
When the 90's hit I was embarrassed that Soul Train was named after me. It became horrible and boring and Don Cornelius made me annoyed.
The WHITE SUIT. THO
This was when black (music) was beatyful
