You mean like what if a tyrannical government had a weapon that could kill a bunch of people and they turned it on the citizens…. The only thing that could make it easier for them is if the people they turned on didn't have anything to protect themselves with ……Gosh people are idiots.
Reminder that the founding fathers were fine with civilians owning cannons and were aware of gatling guns that existed and were in use during the time.
The framers of the constitution had seen the evolution of firearms in their own time. They were geniuses, and were well aware that technology would progress. There were multiple examples of firearms that fired many rounds simultaneously or in short order, such as the puckle gun. Or the pepper box. But of course you’re not interested in the facts are you..?
If you don’t like having freedom, feel free to move somewhere else.. There are a great many crap hole countries that don’t allow their citizens the right of self protection. Take your pick and move there, or just shut your ignorant mouths, you filthy lying propagandists..
Actually, at the time of the drafting of the Bill of Rights, to keep and bear arms was number 4. The first two were not ratified then. Number 2 finally made it in 1992, number 1 never did get ratified.
The founding fathers were obviously too stupid to ever have the idea that engineering and guns would mix and guns would eventually become more powerful. They thought in the year 3000 we'd still be firing black powder flintlock muskets.
Actually they would actually say they wished they'd invented that to use against the British which would've saved thousands of Americans and British lives by ending the war sooner or prevented it all together. Good try tho.
Stuff like this actually existed back then a danish rifle invention could fire 30-60 rounds a minute George Washington wanted them but they were f&*ginng expensive
Surprise surprise surprise, guns that fired multiple rounds in one minute were invented well before the constitution and bill of rights were written. Guess that doesn't fit with your " the 2nd amendment was only meant for myskets" B.S.
Ironically, it's the 2A that has almost surely prevented us from every being invaded. Sure, the ocean helps, but the bigger deterrent is other countries knowing how many of us are armed. You have to be clinically stupid to actually be anti-2A.
So, is there a Kickstarter, or something, that will make a time machine that sends Jordan back to 1789 with a couple sub machine guns? Of course, schematics and documentation of modern metallurgical techniques will help get me a plasma rifle sooner.

Yes the second amendment was mainly for muskets, cannons, and whatever repeating weapons "existed" at the time.
