  1. People forget that at that time 2Pac:
    1. Felt that his time was limited because people were trying to kill him. This made him want to work faster.
    2. Had many songs/ideas stored away due to his time in jail.
    3. MOST IMPORTANTLY. He knew that he had a 3 album deal with Death Row and wanted to hurry up and finish his contract with them and move one with his own label. This urgency mindset led to his recording so fast in those days.

  2. It’s talent vs. work ethic. Some people are born talented but don’t work hard enough. A combination of these two is deadly, Pac had both and thats why he became a legend.

  3. There was a time from 97-2000 when west coast hip hop was in shambles. Pac had died, Snoop left Death Row and made a bad album on no limit, Dre made that bad album Album before chronic 2001, and Death Row was collapsing because Suge was in prison. So the ones carrying the torch was Kurupt and Xzibit for the west coast at that time. But they don’t get enough credit for it.
