Bizarre of D12 addresses the state of Hip-Hip in Detroit and the disrespect younger Detroit rappers have for Eminem, Royce Da 5’9, Big Sean and himself.
Hip Hop needs to become like the Metal Scene. We embrace the legends but try to support newer artists. There is a reason why Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Metallica sell out shows and stadiums. Newer artists (compared to the ohs) like Slipknot, Deftones, Korn, Mastodon, Killswitch Engage etc are now replacing the ogs. Come on guys let's respect the older lot because a healthy scene is good for everyone.
There are some things u just don't do in Hip hop, DON'T disrespect the OG's and don't forget your history. Because these Giants are just better than those Mumble Rapper

Half of what he's saying is true but em wasn't coming for the locals with street flows. Big Hurk, Chedda boys, and a few others was hot around the time 50 got on Shady records. They never got that call. D12 was doing their thing around that time and didn't reach out either
