Collin (Daveed Diggs) must make it through his final three days of probation for a chance at a new beginning. He and his troublemaking childhood best friend, Miles (Rafael Casal), work as movers, and when Collin witnesses a police shooting, the two men’s friendship is tested as they grapple with identity and their changed realities in the rapidly-gentrifying neighborhood they grew up in.

Longtime friends and collaborators, Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal co-wrote and star in this timely and wildly entertaining story about friendship and the intersection of race and class set against the backdrop of Oakland. Bursting with energy, style, and humor, and infused with the spirit of rap, hip hop, and spoken word, Blindspotting, boldly directed by Carlos López Estrada in his feature film debut, is a provocative hometown love letter that glistens with humanity.

A Summit Entertainment presentation, in association with Codeblack Films and Snoot Entertainment.

  2. One thing I've never understood about this movie is Colin got in that fight all on his own miles sat on the chair and didn't provoke or say anything but he jumped in so why does Val hate and blame him so much for Colin going to jail it was Colin's fault why Colin went to jail Miles didn't provoke shit I've never understood that n why Val blames Miles HHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

  3. Don’t waste ur money & storytelling rap style…ya, just don’t do it, sorry wannabe actors-ain’t happening. Um n what’s up w the tin foil teeth…bad move, lame movie

  4. I was left speechless after watching the movie, and I was like I have to watch this again! I plan to watch the series on STARZ and I'm excited to do so.
Also, does anybody know if Miles and Colin have last names in the film, and if so what they are? -I thought I saw that they had last names in the one scene where Miles leaves with the truck and Collin does their time cards. It went by so fast I couldn't pick up on what the last names were.

  5. I can't believe I only recently heard of this movie. Just finished watching it and man that was powerful. If anyone hasn't seen it yet, you got to watch it.

  6. They should’ve casted a latino or asain for the role of the white dude. I’m from the bay and ain’t no white dudes really in the hood let’s be real. It’s Hollywood though so I get it.
