Medusa is a victim, everyone wants her head, so no problem if she kill everyone who visit her in my openion she must, and she is very strong personality in spite the fact she was the most beatiful helen woman before aphrodite change her.
This is by far the best version I think one of the men should of survived with pers coz the other guy that got turned into stone perceuis could of easly helped him as the shield coverd him from being seen thats the downfall and need more men for a mission like this it would if been more exciting

Loved this movie as a kid and the film still holds up today. This is they should have had filmed the remake instead of the herky, jerky horrible camera work they did for the 2010 version. Any chance of Part 2? The other clip on YT is such poor quality and it seems an abridged version.
I like how Ray Harryhausen made Medusa a warrior, not just a run-of-the-mill Greek mythological monster. Even if you avoid her gaze, she'll turn you into a pincushion.
This scene is the real highlight of the film. IMO. The set, the buildup with all the statues of Medusa's victims, her eerie shadows, and the music when we finally see her is honestly fucking phenomenal!
