  1. Maaaaaaan I can't believe I'm 3 years late! Wtf…..I'm convinced there's an agenda. There's no reason why this shouldn't have been a hit. They want our ears poisoned with trap and it saddens me!

  2. While listening to this song, I had the strangest sensation. I felt it coursing through my veins. 😊 How can anyone not feel all kinds of good listening to this?

  3. Pure Hip Hop in it's purest form
    Some music touch your soul
And you never forget that music
This song will never leave my soul
Hip hop I tell ya I miss it

  4. And it's so easy to fall back to the memory of
And it's easy to recall the good and fall into place
But you're not easy to love
I love the memory of (I remember your face, I remember your ways)

    That part got me!!!
You have to go NO CONTACT with toxic people

  5. So many thoughts on this. Today was the first time I ever heard this song or saw the video. I've been away from hip hop for years. But, like many I've seen, I've been caught up in nostalgia lately. Listening to this song and seeing the video, to me sums up nostalgia and the struggle between wanting a part of the past back and struggling in the present. One thing that stands out is how much we've aged. I say we because I'm in the same age range of these guys. We've gotten older. The lyrics speak so loudly. The one verse that sticks out more than all the others is "just don't let me trip over memory lane cause time can't be replaced." Spending too much time in the past yearning for things yesterday can cause you not to redeem the time you have today. The struggle is real. For a 44 year old it's called mid-life. Brilliant song. They are speaking of hip-hop but it can apply to many other things we hold dear.

  6. Love this beat Pete Rock a genius on the boards!! De la Soul blessing this lyrics like they never left Estelle gracing this song with her beautiful voice match made in heaven!! Classic!!
