I’m raising money to support Food Hub to provide NYC students who depend on school meals who no longer have access. Let’s party. But let’s also help our fellow man. ANY AMOUNT can help.

  1. So watching this a 2nd time many months later, I now know if Amir is wearing his own merch it’s laundry day lolololoz! Amazing set

  2. Quest Wit' Da' Best……I'm loving the Native Tongue Set…..back in 88 – 89 i was heavily into the Hip Hop / House Movement. So when i heard Jungle Brothers " I'll House You" my fancy was tickled……lol. I love how The JBeez took samples from Marshall Jefferson " Move Your Body" & Samantha Fox " I Want To Have Some Fun " & created a dope Dance Cut. Shout outs to Deee-Lite ….There whole "World Clique " album was way before its time. Quest 25 years ago i was rocking baggy Guess Jeans, over sized hoodie, Butter Brown Timbs, with a Nappy Fro Fade im looking like a early Wu member, bangin' all the Boom Bap artist in my portable JVC CD Walkman while i hop the L – Train heading to West Philly to work. Thanks for the memories.

PS – Yeah De La's "Kicked Out The House" record was a diss to Hip House Rap. It was being treated like how Disco artist was being dissed by Rock n' Rollers during the late 70s. Hip Hop / House like Disco made alot of rap artist money as long as they was willing to take the risk doing a Dance song.
