Dr Dre – The Day The Niggaz Took Over (Music Video)

Horatio Cornblower creates a video for what is arguably still Dr Dre’s greatest tune.

Please note that we did not sign up to display advertisements on YouTube. The powers that be notice the use of third party music and spam accounts accordingly.

Further, please note that this track is available all over youtube in audio form. All we have done is add a video to it as there was none available. This is done to honour the original work, not to hurt it.

Finally, we allowed YouTube to ‘stablize’ this video. Ironically that means it now rolls around like a ship lost at sea. There is also no ‘undo’ for this. Apologies and should we be able to, we will amend it.

  1. The beat is beautifully orchestrated chaos, just perfect. The scratching is so dope, puts you off balance. The way the gun blast introduces Dre—so many brilliant details. The nascent Dogg pound really brings it. And Snoop like a deadly weapon just sprinkled on the chorus/refrain bits.

  2. This is what happens when the system fails its citizens. When democracy fails, anarchy rises. History is there for "our leaders" to learn from. This is nothing new to human history, many civilizations have fallen from within.

  3. "I'ma say this and I'ma end mine
If you ain't down for the Africans here in the United States
    Period, point blank
If you ain't down for the ones that suffered in South Africa
    From Apartheid and shit
Damnit, you need to step your punk ass to the side
And let us brothers and us Africans step in
And start puttin' some foot in that ass"

we are one people, they wanted to enslave us Psalms 83, they dont want us to know who we are
    ONE!

  4. Them Koreans weren't playing. It'll get to that point on a much bigger scale if this stuff don't stop. The legal gun owners will only be patient for so long.

I didn't realize how profound my words were until about ten years ago. With that said, Dr. Dre and Death-row never paid me for what I said.
After almost 30years, you think it's time a real nigga get paid for saying some real s**t?
