Great times!!!
Possibly one of the greatest toys ever created in the 70s
I had this back in the day when I was a kid. many decades ago. I loved it and would like to have one now at 58.
HOW DOES THE TOY WORK? That the information I'm looking for.
Evel Knievel and Bionic Man. Sorted. No Iphone, no Xbox, no TikTok just a brilliant time!
Brilliant video loved it. 🙂 One of my childhood heroes.
I still remember his last jump off of the top step just before the front end broke off. Where have all the good times gone.
Loved this toy. I always wanted the rocket bike though with the sparks
I had one of these as well! I remember we had a raised back garden and I made a ramp to fire it out the second story window and land in the garden… it did as well!
And my parents wonder why I started jumping everything on anything. Thanks Evel
Had ONE!
I came here from that 70's show
This is the coolest thing I have ever seen in my life.
I remember this toy when I was a kid. Now I'm 53. My aunt bought me this toy for Christmas. RIP to my aunt and Evil Knievel.
great vid
I had one when I was a kid, where can I get another one ? Anybody ?
My favourite toy when I was a kid in the UK! That bike took a serious battering but kept on going, even with a few bits missing, even after my Knieval figure got wrecked.
That said, I asked my mum a few years ago whatever happened to it, she said I got bored with it and stopped playing with it, so she eventually gave it to a jumble sale at the the local scouts. Oh well.
That's gotta hurt.
A lonely kids favorite toy I played with this thing for Days by myself that's all you needed was yourself this toy and some stuff to make ramps with like everybody else said this toy was indestructible believe me I did everything jumped it off the highest things imaginable literally jumped it into walls unbreakable
53 years old and just got it today!! i wont be leaving my house for a few days!!
I really loved this toy, but when you see it as an adult, you can see this commercial is so full of crap and not so careful editing.
there should have been a figure with this toy that flopped like a broken body when the bike lands..a choice of two figures, a good day Evel Knievel, and a bad day Evel kenievel 😀
to the dolls death it never worked
Ohhhhh nooooo Mr. Bill!
It's great that you can still get these. I had one when I was a kid, and 30 years later my kid had one, and 20 years after that a kid can still get one!
RIP Evel. Thanks for all the thrills. It's great to see that your legacy is living on for later generations to enjoy.
I remember I am 49
Our whole family played with this toy
We beat the snot out of it and it still kept going.
I remember one of the first commercials had the melodic line "Evil whew! Knievel" but I think Evil didn't like it for some reason so they pulled and erased it from existence. It was cool! And I remember I and my friends used to chant the line and omit Evil and Kneviel and put in our own names! It was some hilarious nostalgia!
This is bullshit. We bought one and it is garbage. NOT the same quality of toy I had in the 70s/80s.
There's a weird mix of original and new footage included in this vintage commercial. It's all great, though.
I had every Evel Knievel toy made. I'm 51 and if I still had them I'd be playing with them
I was too poor as kid to have one and had to play with my cousin's when he let me. I'm getting it! My favorite 70's toy!
I had one. It was pretty fun until you scrapped the shit out of your knuckles. Lol. Which i did all the time.
This toy , The Six Million Dollar Man doll, Stretch Armstrong, and Smash Up Derby, Weebles, and Playmobil…..great toys of the 70's….and then came…Star Wars figures!! If there's a Toy Box Heaven…you know they got ….all those greats!!!!
