  1. Heard this for the first time today, haunting.Wish I'd have heard it 18 months ago when I was publicly betrayed and my heart was shattered into tiny pieces.Better late than never, I'm on the mend.

  2. OK. I had to come here to type this out because, well only you people will understand, I guess. The people around me just don't get it. I subscribe to YouTube Premium. I use YouTube Music a lot. I love to pick a song I love and let Google serve up music it knows I love as a sort of radio station. Sometimes it delivers songs I've never heard. It delivered "At The River" to me a couple of months ago. I WAS STRUCK DUMB. I'd never heard it before. I've been an avid music fan since childhood, and I'm 58 years old. Somehow this song got past me upon release. Anyway, I listened to it a few times after Google delivered it to me and kind of moved on. Then the other day it came up in rotation again on YouTube Music. I CRIED. I've listened to it probably 20 times over the last couple of days. This morning while listening to it I was thinking how I might want this played at my funeral after a long and healthy life. It is in my top 100 songs of all time at this point, a song you can put on "repeat" and I can listen to it all freaking day without ever tiring of it. It HURTS to hear, in the sweetest way. A moment of complete bliss, of finally letting it all fall away and enjoying that moment in the sand. That beach moment.

  3. This music on that time, used to make special… still today… it's a soul caller… those years where special in the artistic scene… and we didn't knew it was a… SEE YOU SOON… waiting for a new wave of magic…

  4. This song reminds me of randomly running
into an old friend you haven't seen since your 20's.

You share the good times, have some laughs, and maybe a few tears,
which brings you right back to those times…

Then, just like that, you're off in seperate directions…

See you in 20 years ❤

  5. I was going through an existential crisis about a year ago when I found this song. Then I started playing it on repeat while having a smoke for a whole month (great combo btw). Something about it, made me travel my mind, have the conversations that needed to be had with myself and others. I felt them, I heard them, I lived them, i cried. A month later I was healed. This tune is a banger, every time I listen to it gives me goosebumps.

  6. This song is getting me through a tough time in life. My Dad taught me the Tigers growl with the trumpet when I was young. We also spent years together on the beaches of Guam. My Dad loved to reminisce about those days on the beach(sand dunes and salty air), catching fish and just hanging out(quaint little feelings). This song hits me in a real good place.

  7. Just listened to Groove Armada interviewed on tv… Funny how I've never come across them before..
Heard this song for the first time just a few minutes ago… Very much a 'therapy song' was amongst my thoughts…then I saw similar thoughts below.
