  1. Tim Westwood, hang your head in shame!!.  This shit should have been all over the airwaves, instead we were subjected ( I freakin' shit you not) …. to Vanilla Ice and Bone Thugs and Harmony amongst many other complete shit that the U.S. splurged out at the time, yeah  thats right Timothy actually played those tracks. Dont get me wrong the U.S. had some absolute gems back in the day, (Geto Boys, Tribe Called Quest, Rakim…)… but still not enough to fill 5 hours of radio1 every week.  In the early 90's the UK was lyrically superior, with beats so far advanced they are still being ripped today. DJ'ing was at another level, it wasnt about which DJ had the best anthem, it was about who had the skills.  Hijack. Blade. Son of Noise. Gunshot. Demon Boyz,  the list goes on and on and on and on. I'd rather drink from a Texan spittoon than listen to "wanna b gangsta" rap from the 90's, yet for some reason we were subjected to it like there was nothing else.  Shame on you Westwood, you had the power to make the UK great, instead you were instrumental in holding us back

  3. thanks for the revision of that dj krash slaughter track…..in '95 i bought a white label record with a fat 'always remains hardcore' stamp in the middle—and as i first heard that track i was pretty sure – its  two tone featuring bandong…..thats the story
