Im a little bit younger than most of you but I have got to say I cant believe how talented this band is sometime the hits can obscure the depth of a band and I think it has in the case of Airplane Just discovering a lot of these songs for the first time and im loving it !
The Airplane could play just about any rock, blues, folk genre….from acid rock (yes, I sat in first 5 rows at Filmore East for at least 6 Airplane gigs….one show we were passed down huge pitchers of Kool Aid, and Dead did this frequently-the good shit), folk, revolutionary, anti war, blues, r & b….Jorma and Cassady were primo musicians….miss multi-talents like that….
