I heard a MF doom song years ago, when I was 22. It lead to me finding this song and I became obsessed with the beautifully haunting music of Ros Sereysothea.
Im 29 now, and dating a woman I met at work who just happens to be of Vietnamese and Cambodian heritage. When I told her mother I was a fan of Ros Sereysothea she absolutely flipped her shit.
Thanks to an MF doom song I heard in my early 20's, I made an incredible first impression with my soon to be wife's parents nearly a decade later. It's absolutely crazy how stuff plays out sometimes.

I've been listening to this song every once in a while. This song got the most "feels' for me out of all music. It goes too deep. 0:57 The Cambodian people surviving genocide got a story to tell. This song humbles me, she sings about lost family and she was never to be seen again. I need to listen it once in a while. Stray strong and enjoy life.
