In 1992, Los Angeles exploded in riots—the worst civil unrest in U.S. history—when the four white police officers who beat black motorist Rodney King were acquitted.

It needs to happen in north korea
This doc just strengthens my lack of faith in humans. We are an absolute degenerate species
The chills from just watching this trailer alone are crazy. A true masterpiece of documentation.
I love every single creature on this planet
I bet in the next few years maybe they’ll make a documentary about 2020 and The George protests and Minneapolis.
To answer a question you might have… YES, the actual documentary is as good as this trailer.
The ones who should win the riots are korea town people who just try to protect themselves and there shop
the mayor should ask himself this:was it worth it saving 4 disgusting cops and a judge or he should had saved the city
Minneapolis 20??
What an hypocrisy
This trailer is not cut like the movie and makes this film seem like a more politically correct doc. This film is anything but.
Using only the narration of authentic footage, the movie masterfully reveals the amount of violence and mayhem that was unleashed after the RK verdict.
Its editing is ethereal and trance-like. It showed the progression of the news and street commentariat and the unforgiving, immoral, and opportunistic nature of this grip of anger and racial grievance. People didn't care who they destroyed in that state of lawless hysteria. It confronts how when something like this goes down, you only will have yourself for defense. The scene with the Koreans taking arms to defend their livelihoods is jaw-dropping.
I watched this in my room in LA during the aftermath of the George Floyd riots, a time where you could drive around and could see every business boarded up, city blocks burnt to a crisp, people with guns on street corners, police vehicles zooming by with 20 officers each hanging off the outside.
Makes me think that they should show this in schools to prevent the repeating of history, but maybe, showing this in schools might cause some very undesirable consequences. When you understand that neighbors around you would take the opportunity to kill you if the right racial stars align is a hard truth and one that needs to be learned at a certain stage of maturity. Tucking this footage away might just be better for getting along. There's that clip of Morgan Freeman saying that the solution to racism is to stop talking about it, the more we focus on its evil, the more we allow its evil control us. All I'm saying; watch this if you dare!
Its crazy how we all have a heart, lungs, brain, nerves, vain, blood flowing threw our bodies, yet we see each other different cuz of color and race.
GOT TAKEN DOWN LESS THAN AN HOUR AGO
Tell me why am getting a strange feeling in the George Floyd case their going to be not guilty all of the officers and not just in Minneapolis well be involved with chaos the entire nation's cities well like what happened in Los Angeles and Minneapolis riots
X muerto q creia q eran la 92 de sevilla
RIP lmao
The only thing it takes is a tipping point – and we are heading there today
The policing system hasn’t changed
Dónde la encuentro en español?
Just watched it…. what a brilliant documentary consisting only of Raw footage
We will never learn from our actions.
That is crazy that nothing has changed till today
I wonder why people in other countries want to go and live in this brutal country called America ! America is the hooligan of the world where people in authority are criminals and liars. Not only blacks , but also Native Americans are tortured and killed by whites on daily basis. Shame on America !
Did anyone else get chill at the end of the trailer
2020: Hold my beer
How often, what could be a Positive move for positive change, always results in this push of Violence. Our community leaders have experienced this and community forget the Greatest examples for Human Right's and Liberty.
Frederick Douglass, Martin Luther king….ext.
It was shown to all Us, to March to Washington d.c. to deliver a Voice, like he did. Why hasn't the Civil Community leadership who are the part of this Nation on platforms. Why not use this Excellent example for Demonstration.
2020 has the power of social media, without learning from past crimes (police brutality) how can anything be changed, the world is watching you America.
After Floyd death sad
History is repeating itself it's just Minnesota it's happening city to city if you do not learn from the past we're doomed to repeat it again
this is just absolutely beautiful! Visceral and real to our current time. JUSTICE FOR IT!
History is repeating itself because this country hasn't learned its lesson yet.
Why Lord ??
Why
Bro we never learn from our mistakes smh ntm I wish they would show this documentary in History classes
USA 20
This feels like a real life movie than a documentary
What is the name of the soundtrack in the background?
This was amazing
Nothing changed ever since it still goes on
Worst part is our society has not learned anything from the riots. Going back from Watts riots, Detroit riots, Newark riots, etc. etc. Only thing that changes is the name of the city.
Oh $#&$#, here we go again :"(
