i consider myself very lucky to have grown up through the 70s and especially 80s, a period where amazing new music was being made but also a period where the nostalgia craze of the 50s and 60s was happening so i also grew up with that amazing music. the perfect time to grow up.
I remember hearing this in hospital. It was my last day before being discharged and I remember this coming on the radio. Never heard of Little Richard or this song and thought, damn this is a good track. Glad it was the last day when I heard it because that was when I fully came around after the surgery
