Millie – My Boy Lollipop 1973

(Released 1964)

My boy lollipop,
You made my heart go giddy up.
You are as sweet as candy;
You’re my sugar dandy.

Ha, ho my boy lollipop,
Never ever leave me,
Because it would grieve me.
My heart told me so

I love you, I love you, I love you so.
That I want you to know,
I need you, I need you, I need you so,
and I’ll never let you go.

My boy lollipop,
you make my heart go giddy up.
You set my world on fire,
you are my one desire.
Oh my lollipop

(Instrumental)

I love you, I love you, I love you so.
That I want you to know,
I need you, I need you, I need you so,
and I’ll never let you go.

My boy lollipop,
you make my heart go giddy up.
You set my world on fire,
you are my one desire.
Oh my lollipop
Oh my lollipop
My boy lollipop

  1. Millie Small – A complete knock out here! I use to enjoy watching her on black & white television, when I was only 3 and 4 years old back in 1967 & 1969. Led Zeppelin, and Jimi Hendrix came later on after 1970. I wish that Sweetie Millie Small was still alive and well. God Bless her Soul.

  2. I love this song. It is so cute and I’m lookin for my own boy lollipop ♥️. It sounds like this song belongs in a previous decade. Who would believe it was 1973!!
