  1. Yes. This is how the police operate more often then not….they know they can arrest and inconvenience the hell out of you on a whims notice. The prosecutor may opt not to file charges, but as far as your day goes…you're effed.

  2. The very first 2 rules of arresting someone:

    1) explain why the person is being arrested
    2) explain their rights to them

    These pricks did neither.

  3. Looks like you are in the boat as all the rest of us hay protected species. I wonder how many lasers these will get and how much back peddling CNN will do to get out of imagery trouble that criminal cops will trumped up charges?

  4. Thank god for police being cautious and arresting them for not obeying the law. Respect the law. They were not moving away. You have no civil rights to not obey the law and distract and pester the police in a high stakes situation.

  5. I just saw this on some other site. If this was staged CNN! I want to make it clear I support the protests. But if you staged this CNN! What else have you staged? Playing the US citizenry like a fiddle. If I find anything to the contrary that this was completely organic it’s going to go viral. So you had better come clean before that time. You think those who are not in the top 20% are stupid?

  6. Even journalists are unsafe from "cops" out there who just want to arrest, injure, and/or kill everyone for no reason no matter whether we are innocent or not. It's those "cops" who are giving good cops a bad reputation.

  7. Omar Jimenez and his crew were unlawfully arrested by the "cops" but it was the commanding officer who told those "cops" to release those news correspondents and let them do their jobs properly.
