Loved Soul Train on Channel 26 in Chicago where it originated and when it was in California with Don Cornelius RIP. Loved the great dancers and guest artists. I danced all through the shows. I'm 66 now and still jammin' on the 1 (as James Brown would say 😉 ).
I am sorry to say but they are weak. If they came to Richmond, Ca at that time the little kids would have ate them up. Every block had a dance group or two. The Richmond Talent Shows in the 70's and early 80's ain't no joke.
Baby! Charles Washington was everything! The energy the jherri curl swinging and those cummerbund’s he wore! I lived to see him bring it every Saturday at 12 noon!!! They need to bring Soul Train back!!!
Lol. I know alot of people that are not coordinated, flexible enough to pop like this…… me for 1! Overall, nice dancing. Those were the good old days. Now, all we see is twerking, & men standing around……watching. Claiming they don't dance. Then why go to a house head set just to get drunk? Plz stay @ home!
fik shun….
