  1. This and unseen are so good. I really wish madlib would drop another. But he seems like the type of artist that if he can't put out something just as good or better it ain't worth it.

  2. Y'know, it's not hard to just shout out a bunch of oldschool rappers and DJs over a beat. But Madlib did it with style, finesse and love. And the video editing takes it to the next level. It's not just clips from other music videos, it's live stuff and commercials and all sorts of deep cuts. Massive respect.

  3. So many have moved on. This is a time capsule. Hip Hop doesn't celebrate Hip Hop enough.

Rock In Power to so many pictured and/or mentioned here: DOOM, Sub Rock, Scott La Rock, Jimmy Spicer, Heavy D, Paul C, Big Bank Hank, Prince Markie Dee, G.U.R.U., Chrizma, Eazy E, Tupac and Biggie, Jam Master Jay, Big L, Mr Magic and Keith Harring(artist).

  4. What a dope song. Back when rappers paid homage. Now rappers talk shit about their predecessors. Calling them old head gatekeepers smh. That’s like talking shit about Martin and Malcolm. This new generation crazy
