Back in 2003, Questlove (The Roots) let MTV News peruse his record collections – featuring more than 30,000 pieces of vinyl – one of which, a project that features his mom, his aunt, and his dad, he considers his “most prized possession.”

I’ve had ‘Are You Looking’ ,’Congress Alley’ and ‘Time is Yours’ on repeat for the last week now. I will not rest till I have a vinyl copy, especially after watching this.
Questlove is a real collector "Alphabetical is a nightmare", I agree. I do all that stuff, soul from 60's to 00's, going crazy for samples, jazz at the bottom, and I like the idea of hip hop 12". I go only for albums now but back in the day you could get those 12" inches cheap.
Wonder what his record room looks like now? I remember him saying that he would buy other musicians collections, such that when a musician would die, their family would sell off their record collection, among other things. And someone like quest love would buy the whole lot!
And then you add 19 years and Jimmy Fallon money… imagine how many records he has now.
