Now there’s a backseat/lover
That’s always under/cover
And I talk til my daddy say
Said you ain’t seen/nuthin
Til you’re down on her/muffin
And there’s sure to be a change in ways
Now there’s a cheer/leader
That’s a real big/pleaser
As far as I can remi/nisce
But the best thing/love it
Was her sister and her/cousin
And it started with a little kiss, like this

She told me to
Walk this way!
Talk this way!
Well just gimme a kiss/some head!
Oooh, a-like this!

  1. Joe Perry is playing his Guild X-100 Bladerunner here. His Bladerunner is currently in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and will move to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland later this year.

  2. Saw Aerosmith and Run-DMC perform this together in the "Just Push Play" tour. For me it was the best part of the concert seeing these 2 groups play together. Awesome show.

  3. It is a shame that kids now days do not know how ICONIC this song was, especially when it came out it was something everyone said would never work. This one song made the way for groups like the Beastie Boys and so many more.

  4. That 12" he's scratching in the intro? The label was Believe In A Dream Records. A label founded by Russell Timmons (no relation) after he was an exec at Epic Records US.
It's almost an Easter egg — believe in a dream that rock and rap can stand on common ground, distant cousins of common ancestors, and pound the ground all around with sound.

Instead, we got nu-metal. Oh, how it wounds the heart when a dream dies…

  5. I was a youngster when this instant classic was released. This song confirmed that every genre of music could co-exist. Also after this song was released I no longer had to continue being a closet fan of rock. Thanks guys! Lol!
