  1. Found the OG vinyl of this album about five years ago for $10 at a local surplus/curio/relic/antiques store. Grabbed it immediately. Still can't believe that happened. Easily my coolest record buying story ever.

  2. Das EFX even found out how to use it 7 different ways on their Dead Serious album, 1 remix ("Mic Checka" "East Coast", "Straight Out the Sewer"), "Mic Checka (Remix)", and their Straight Up Sewaside album, and 2 remixes ("Gimmie Dat Microphone", "Host Wit Da Most (Rappaz Remix)", "Baknaffek (E-A-Ski/CMT Remix)").

  3. Just listened to a radio interview by recording engineer Ed Stasium saying he engineered this record but never owned a copy till the late 80s, when he bought it from a homeless guy.
He said Vernon Reid was over his apartment shortly before the recording of living colours first record ‘vivid’ and Vernon said he learned to play guitar by playing along to this record, so Ed and Vernon bonded over it!!!
