THC Gummy Recipe – Delicious Edibles
These gummies are super easy to make, delicious to taste and super strong!
Last night, we went live with cannabis advocate and industry pioneer Stormy Simon and Chef J – a world-famous cannabis expert, entrepreneur, restaurateur and respected authority on cannabis.
Chef J walked Stormy and the Seedsman Community through his THC gummy recipe step by step. He revealed the secrets behind the taste and what makes them so potent.

Sour Mango THC Gummy Recipe

Ingredients
- 13 g Pomona’s Pectin
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar, plus 1/4 cup (50 g) for coating
- 2 tbsp (25 g) agave syrup
- 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1cup+5oz mango juice
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1g cannabis distillate
- 2 tsp calcium water (1/2t calcium powder dissolved in 1/2 cup water)
- 1/2 tbsp citric acid
- 1/2c EverClear Calcium Water
Notes
- In this recipe, Chef J places his mixture in gummy molds. If you don’t have molds, it’s fine to let the entire mix harden and then cut into your own shapes.
- This recipe comes with 1g of already pre-made cannabis distillate. You can buy distillate at most dispensaries. However, if you can’t find it, we’ve included a recipe to make your own distillate below.
- While some of the ingredients may seem exotic, like the agave. pectin and calcium water, all can be found on Amazon!
Method
- Lightly spray your molds or 9×9 pan with oil.
- Add the mango juice to your pan on the hob, medium-high heat. Give a stir.
- Add the kosher salt and the cannabis distalte to the mixture, give a stir and bring up to a small bubble.
- Bring up to a temperature of 140-150 degrees
- Lower the heat and begin adding the sugar slowly. Mix well as you do.
- Drop in the pectin and mix.
- Add in the agave and freshly squeezed lime juice.
- Add some more sugar and continue to whisk.
- Once all combined, remove from the heat and add the still warm mixture to either your molds or your pan. Use a baster if adding to molds.
- Let it cool at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours until the gummies are cool to the touch and set.
- Toss the gummies in a bowl with the Everclear, and leave to dry on a wire rack until the outside hardens and becomes a little sticky.
- Note: only toss the ones you’re ready to eat in the Everclear. Leave any leftovers without coating as they stay better (for 2 weeks at least). When they’re ready to consume, that’s when you toss them in the Everclear.
And there you have it! Easy to make, super-potent yummy gummies that’ll be sure to kick your edible craving. Beware! These are real ass-kickers , eat one and then give it at least 30 minutes to kick in before eating another!
How to Make Cannabis Distalte
If you’ve got cannabis flower and want to turn it into a tincture for this recipe, here’s what you need to do:
You’ll need: cannabis flower, parchment paper, foil, Everclear, and a whipped cream canister.
- Turn your oven on to 245°F
- Break up your cannabis flower. They should be nugget sized
- Add the flowers to parchment paper and bundle. Wrap this package in foil
- Place the package on a baking dish and put it in the oven for 25-30 minutes. This is called decarbing.
- Remove and let the flowers cool to room temperature
- Add 100ml Everclear to your whipped cream canister along with the decarbed cannabis. Release 2 charges of nitrous into a glass tincture bottle. Strain the cannabis tincture into a measuring cup with a spout. From here, carefully pour the tincture into the glass bottle and seal it with a dropper.
- Note: The longer you leave the tincture, the more potent it becomes. We’d recommend leaving it at least a few weeks before using it.
