I love the d.o.c. you are my favorite rapper of all time ❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️
D.O.C. man. That’s the guy.
No one can do it better.
Yes dude is a legend
I think Jerry Heller once remarked that DOC and Rakim were the 2 best rappers he ever heard
Sounds like he was abused by other black men in L.A. Sad. Probably forced him to write certain songs. We hate each other too much.
We need a D.O.C. biopic. This man is responsible for so much. He pushed the culture forward in so many ways.
Happy to see him speaking. I still have his CD. It hurt me that he could not put out more music. I enjoyed his rapping skills. Glad he is still writing for Dre.
Seriously losing your voice ? Crazy and he a rapper? Yo whole lively hood is based on being able to talk " THAT'S INCREDIBLE"
I wonder if he can use that voice to sound kind of like how Proof did. It's hard to explain, but Proof had that cool ass smoky, shadowy voice. Quiet but vicious. Another example I can think of would be Keak Da Sneak (Listen to his part on E-40's "Tell Me When to Go")
shoutout to THE D.O.C he was/is truly great!
Similar thing happened to one of our most talented musician name Bhakta Raj Acharya. He had a great voice. Unfortunately, some thugs beat him up so badly that he had cancer on his tongue resulting in him having to cut his tongue. Damn that suck
Why Dre get upset when people said DOC write his raps Easy said Ice Cube wrote his that’s the thing now he still a good artist
Dropped the best rap album ever, only to have your voice taken away moments later. What a shame.
Noone still did it better.
“I never lost my voice. It’s in Dre, it’s in snoop and now it’s in those kids in Dallas. Puma (him and Erykah Badu’s daughter and his other children.
Damn! No 1 on the planet could flow like him… True Treasure!
No 1 could fuk with the DOC!
D.O.C. being a ghostwriter elevates many other artists. You should understand this guy crushed his larynx and wrote hits. His return as the hook for "Gospel" with Dre & Eminem is a triumph for Hip Hop.
A T to tha Muthafuckin K sighting @1:37
you can tell the DOC is a straight shooter, just honest and forthcoming….. a refreshing way of being in these days
He is fine
The perfect rapper his words was where they were supposed to go
Praise God he still has his Life!
D.O.C. should have been doing voice work for cartoons and video games for years.
No one can do it better should be a Hip Hop classic!
I remember when Cali came to Dallas. Dallas looked like Boyz n the hood. I was in Oak Cliff, and guys had long curls with ball caps. That was my uncles generation, but we seen how it was as kids.
The D.O.C. is STILL better than a lotta East Coast rappers and I'm from The Bronx miss this dude.
I'm with the DOC. Embrace it. Makes me wonder if he could release something new with it.
Seems like such a humble dude DOC
He is one of my all time favs.
Straight outta compton:
Dre/suge visits d.o.c in hospital after accident scene
Suge: lemme holla at you Dre…come to death row,..you wanna end up like that mf in there…?
That shit was bold as hell…..tht whole movie made d.o.c seem like nuisance
All time great on the mic
Someone who speaks and appears to carry himself with a certain level of maturity and character. Wow
The biggest 'what if' in hip hop history
This was a message that hit deep. My old voice may not come back but my new voice is a part of me now
You would think with all of today's technology that someone could fix his vocal chords. We can send a damn robot from here all the way to Mars 600 million miles away but yet we can't give him his voice back. It just doesn't add up. This country wastes money on the wrong shit.
Is very sad
I love doc, man. Dude became one of my top 3 favorites during this pandemic. Love & respect, from bbe chino
Salute ORIGINAL Legend
God damn how insane that right after his first album he would get in a wreck that literally did the most damage directly to his voice box.
Its funky enough. Great rap. Legend.
Deep
This man deserved better
