Great Harmony,s there.
My Dad just passed away in June and I’m realizing how much of a gift it was for him to share all his music with me my whole life. It gives me a glimpse into how life was for him back then and I’m so glad I’m able to carry this kind of music on to my son one day. I can feel him next to me every time his favorite songs play. Rest In Peace Pops I love you.
As a young boy spuds like osibisa black bird fly way back 70s
I was raised on this music. Good times.
Thank you Lord
Thank you Jesus
That l was born in the days of REAL MUSIC
What other song can hold you spellbound for 10 minutes? Yet it seems to go by so fast.
I am white but this is one of my favourite songs for the past 50 years
This is one of my favorite songs of all time. The rest are by Tom Waits.
I’m 42 in 2022 & this song has me so emotional right now! Music was just life serenaded back then. I probably wasn’t even born when this song came out, but it is truth right now today! The world is a ghetto!

Fantastic song. Prophetic.
I am a 75-year-old man that appreciates the music and songs of the '70s from groups like war brings back many memories thank you by the way I am considered a white man.
The Varrio, The Neighborhood! Muchlove!
I have always loved War. This song just mainly the instruments just do something to me.
Seems like with GLOBAL WARMING.
WAR HAD IT PINNED DOWN IN THE 1970s to 1980s.

To the youngsters of 2022. This song is more relevant today than when it was 1st written
What a piece of art
Tedeschi Trucks Band brought this great 1972-number to the stage some time a go with mr. Hidalgo joining. Thank you so very much War, Hidalgo and TTB
AntoneNow brought me here
From Amsterdam to Amarillo, South Philadelphia and Watts, the World is a ghetto.
just saw Tedschi trucks in Saratoga Springs and they played this song. mad props to them for paying homage to an incredible track.
A sad footnote to this is , Charles Miller who layed down the tremendous Sax solo was murdered in Los Angeles in 1980 .
The crime has never been solved .
i'm a fetus, and thanks mom for playing this dope shit
Growing up running in the South Side, CCC, Beverly Hills, (hell everywhere in Vallejo), its all truth, but we made the most of it. The best memories & some lessons learned the hard way…This song cuts to the quick, but in the best way…
One of the best albums of all time.
WHO'S LISTENING TO THIS #STATEMENT #PIECE IN 2022?!
