Very beautiful
"Politely" is here subtlety and lucidity. Its development is organic and it articulates itself step by step. God bless Tony for this.
MAGNIFIQUE
magnificent
That has got to be the raddest sweater hoodie I've laid my eyes on yet!
Mr. Allen certainly has a way and always takes me there, where I want to go.
Legend
I have been listening to this song for over a year and I simply don't know, its a sad or happy song? it's so confusing, but amazing at the same time.
BTW, 18 people need to see a shrink.
Stunningly beautiful. The artistry, the divine restraint, the ingenuity, the sheer massive musical intelligence. Rest in peace Mr Allen. "What comes from God, returns to Him".
La muerte no existe.
He is a legend !!
Rest In Peace, Tony Allen. I heard this song for the first time this week. I like to explore all sorts of music. The first time I heard it, it resonated. It was an instantaneous love this song. Listed to it several times. The I saw the headline that Mr. Allen passed away.
RIP, Tony. You'll live forever.
RIP…!
RIP Tony Allen, you'll be missed
Nice!
Tony Allen > Monk
Just heard it on KOTO Telluride. Can't wait to play it on the big stereo.
I find this interesting. The pockets not bad and the rhythm is correct, however the feeling isn't jazz imo. This is basically emotional masterbation. When playing jazz music one should minimize emotion, for anything added to what is is too much. The time and pocket will be better when emotion is minimised.
There's enough sorrow in the world without musicians creating more.
"music washes away from the soul, the dust of every day life, and says to each one; ‘thou art now no longer in thine office, or in the barracks, or in thy workshop’." Berthold Auerbach.
