  1. "Hell Is Round The Corner"

I stand firm for our soil
    Lick a rock on foil
So they juice me, seduce me
    Dress me up in Stussy

Hell is 'round the corner where I shelter
    Isms and schisms
    We're living helter skelter
    If you believe or deceive
Common sense says you shouldn't receive
Let me take you down the corridors of my life
And when you walk, do you walk to your preference
    No need to answer 'til
    I take further evidence
I seem to need a reference to get residence
A reference to your preference to say
    I'm a good neighbour, I trudge
So judge me for my labour
    Lobotomy ensures my good behavior
The constant struggle ensures my insanity
Passing the evenings ensures the struggle for my family
We're hungry, beware of our appetite
Distant drums bring the news of a kill tonight
The kill which I share with my passengers
We take our fill, take our fill, take our fill

I stand firm for our soil
    Lick a rock on foil
So they juice me, seduce me
    Dress me up in Stussy

    Confused by different memories
    Details of Asian remedies
    Conversations
    Of what's become of enemies
    My brain thinks bomb-like
    So I listen he's a calm type
    As I grow
And as I grow, I grow collective
Before the move sit on the perspective
    Mr. cradle in the crevice
    And watches from the precipice
    Imperial passage
Heat from the sun somedays slowly passes
Until then, you have to live with yourself
Until then, you have to live with yourself

I stand firm for our soil
    Lick a rock on foil
So they juice me, seduce me
    Dress me up in Stussy

Hell is 'round the corner where I shelter
    Isms and schisms
    We're living helter skelter
    If you believe and deceive
Your common sense says you will receive
Let me take you down the corridors

    My brain thinks bomb-like
    Bomb-like
    My brain thinks bomb-like, bomb-like, bomb-like
    My brain thinks
    Bomb-like
    Beware of our appetite

  2. Tricky / Maxinquaye / Island, 1995

It is still one of the most narcotic albums in the heart of a decade with its dose of black vortexes. By comparison, Massive Attack – not forgetting Tricky's participation in Blue Lines and Protection – breathe peace, DJ Spooky only makes sense in cartoons and the danger foreshadowed by the Wu-Tang Clan is little more than strategic. Here is one of the biggest portraits of the supposedly endemic urban delinquency, haunted by apocalyptic post-technological views in which the only advances are in the domains of torture. Murmurs about mental disorders, disturbance, the city as a vacuum, paranoia, uttered in a voice that always seems to emit its final breath. Martina Topley-Bird, who shares her vocalizations, does not bring the expected redemption with her – although profoundly human, she has the ability to seduce and surprise any predator. In an echo chamber are the words: "You see in black and white, feel in slow motion", in "Ponderosa", "My brain thinks bomb-like, beware of our appetite", in "Hell Is' Round The Corner" or "I've been raised in this place and now concrete is my religion" in "Feed Me". Still, many beats per minute away from what the Prodigy would transform the rhythmic premise of this culture.  /// I also suggest: "Nearly God", Island, 1996 / Pre-Millennium Tension, Island 1996.

  3. There used to by a YouTube video with this song and it was some animated trippy video of this little clay people and a circle of thes bald guys in suits floating and crap coming out of their mouths .. anyone know the name of that video???? Help please it was epic

  4. Reminds me of the BBC2 series of the 1990’s This Life. This Tricky track was played in the background in the house the characters shared in Southwark London. Tricky and Portishead were always being played. I loved that show, happy times in my life. Wish I could find a time machine and go back….

  5. How does this genre of music called? 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻Like I’m imagining night city view and everything around is luxurious in dark juice colors

  6. I dont even know why 👀's mess with stupid people…..
Words can shape the creation of a snowflake from ugly to beautiful.
The funny thing is that snow is only water at 32ferenhigh.
Ask yourself how this music shapes your life your very being…..
What dose it conjures up into your realms.
Remember kids the Word is what created us and all things seen and unseen.
For Him, by Him and through Him.
