I think this is my favourite of his FITB because he's mixing the usual confidence and self-inflation of more mainstream rap with his own scholarly brand. Fusion.
Well, we got Harry Mack making waves in the US now but he's not doing much for education. I do agree that he's incredibly talented and has polished his style with freestyle that is honestly mind blowing. Time for him to bring conscious lyrics to his rap if he wants to be elevated to the status of legends. All the greats rhyme about social conditions. It is a tool to express society. Without that foundation, rap is just a lot of words with no substance. Guys like Akala, Lowkey, Mos Def, Immortal Technique, they represent much more than just pleasing beats and rhymes. Peace
Today morning I woke from a dream and in this dream I had Akala I swear was standing there. I walked with two lady friends on the market place I talk and try to convince them of something with a certain effort. Akala the Rapper sees me and calls me. I approach him, he says: "do you want to take the mic and share it?"
Another awareness arrived inside me, shifting away from the previous need to speak. And in taking the mic and watching Akala in the eyes there and then the transmission was felt as a silent clear and calm inner voice:
"Live your life to the Fullest"
All previously mentioned scenery fell away in peace, stillness, clarity. A space, a field of infinite possibility emerges. Inside outside
Then I woke up
I wish he would read this, I respect this man and wish I could interview him although i never made any radio show or something. Blessings Akala.
Raw! Unapologetically insane! No words for such talent. Where are you performing next (in 2022)?

Honestly never heard anyone spit anything more perfectly
I never comment on videos usually, but that just completely blew me away. I'm listening to that again. Right now. Thank you Akala.
Akala is the best british rapper and probably same level as Eminem if not better lyrically speaking
Put this in a museum
Spits some of the best bars known to man, to be told he's an animal, disgusting and needs to be locked up..
How daarre you! – Greta Thunberg tone..
Had to come back to this. Still one of the greatest FITBs to date!
No doubt, Akala has the best Fire in the Booths.
Mbants closing music
It's war if there's change simple. The truth
bruto
Akala is so underrated Eminem needs to pay attention to the UK scene
