  1. Bought the 2 record set…shaped my music appreciation along with my drumming and singing. This is by far one of the finest covers of any song I have ever heard and has always been my "go to" track from the record.

  2. To this child of the turbulent 60s, Buddy Miles is arguably one of the top 10 Rock entertainers ever. TOP-FLIGHT DRUMMER AND SINGER with NO FLUFF, NO BS, NO THEATRICKS, just a potent combination of passion, spirit, and "come get some" rock and blues! And a helluva nice humble man! (RIP BUDDY MILES)

  3. I saw Buddy Miles in Seattle around this time.  Not sure if it was this concert or not.  It was at Eagles Auditorium and everyone sat on the floor in this big hall–until they got up to dance.  The crowd was kind of rough and pushy with each other.  I think the part about everyone calming down was directed to that.  Fabulous music.  Yes, a treasure.  It was my senior year in high school–the best of times!

  4. This is one I used to play over and over while drinking – and just floating off to "never never land". 😉 My husband used to call it "stoner music" – and not meaning it derogatorily – he just meant a lot of people got high while listening to it. The good thing is now that I've been sober (for 30 years now) I can still listen to it and get that same effect. One of my all-time favorites – of any genre.

  5. Buddy took a Neil Young song put in saxophone and trombone and just did something
historical. The vocals, drums are amazing and this is 70's music w/soul you buy for any
mount of plastic noise now a days. It shameful what they consider – usic .
