Took a Canadian to bring back a British show. Would have been good to see UK man dem chip in and reap the benefits of them financially investing into the show.
I had the honour of working on Top Boy 3, and once we can resume things on Top Boy 4. Its the best thing ive had the chance to work for. Kano and Asher are so fantastic

Living in America I’ve seen the first 2 seasons like 10 times. I’ve binged watched it with 4 different people and they were hooked. The 3rd (1st on Netflix) is really good also. I honestly feel like the escalation in violence is somewhat accurate to what is going on in the streets. Youngers are wild nowadays and that show really sheds light on what is going on.
Drake is American, his Dad is from Tennessee, and Mom is from Canada, and BOTH areas are on the continent of north AMERICA (hence American, lol) me, I'm from the United States! LMAO
Kano is a direct rude boy, blew everyone off the screen an acting masterclass – if you grew up in London in the 90's you knew a sully. Authentic depiction.
Kanos acting on this series levelled up and he was the absolute stand out performer without a shadow of a doubt. I’ve listened to Kano since NASTY crew days and always knew he was a talented guy, but he’s proving more and more that he’s a multi talented man. I really hope he wins some awards and accolades for his performance in this series and I also really really hope the next season is commissioned ASAP as I absolutely LOVE top boy!
