This my favorite hood movie because you can learn a lot to me from watching this
why they not released all of jahs music? dumb move
This is literally the stupidest movie I’ve ever watched. My IQ just went down
I just watched Blue Story then this one. Both are about that rough street life in the hood with gangs and all. But Blue Story is in the UK and this one US. I also read many comments about how UK gangs are hard and all but watching this one, you feel the difference alright. The US gangs are on another level altogether. It is way more violent, dangerous, harder and organised.
This was heartbreaking, really unique movie
The old bald man in jail is his father? Why we dont see in any moment of the movie he call him dad or talk like they know each other? This part got me confused asf someone can explain.
i like it
bitch ass movie dawg
Best movie to come out of this decade. Jahkor is a brilliantly written character!!
Ashton Sanders is talented but something about his acting here didn't feel believable to me.
Is this a prequel to Native Son?
Movie like Menace to Society, Training Day, Boys in the Hood, and Baby Boy wrapped up into one story line.
sad and gripping … if only the rich helped out in society more
Born gangsta repeat
Great great great movie!!
didn't even realize all this time that the guy who was helping him in jail was his dad
I enjoyed this movie
You actually enjoy this more when your from Oakland.. I know every place that takes part in this movie lol. Acting was on point as well Bay area stand up

I enjoyed it.. Isaiah John good performance. J. Wright is Shakespearean..
Can I just say Isaiah John; Leon!!!!!
So this came up in my netflix suggestions and I've tried to watch this 3 times already and each time fell asleep after about 20 minutes due to almost nothing interesting happening in the movie. A bunch of guys sitting around in cars, talkin shit, making beats, talking more shit, occasionally shooting someone and talking even more shit. I am now about an hour and 15 minutes into this and still not much has happened and feel like falling asleep again soon 😀
first serious hood movie since menace/boyz.
ppl keep complaining how ppls lives arent like this but those same ppl live in good families in alabama
Does anyone know the name of the song at the end of this trailer? It has the Brooklyn Zoo sample.
