Coming Home is a documentary film that follows DJ EFN and Garcia, two Cuban-American hip hop artists, as they travel to their ancestral homeland of Cuba for the very first time. The film chronicles their adventures and that of five friends accompanying them. Not only did DJ EFN and Garcia connect with their roots, they also found something very familiar to them: hip hop! The film features commentary from artists highly respected on both sides of the embargo.

Question more
This was such a great documentary. Not only did it show Cuba for how it is, its does so by higlighting its people and not its politics.
I will watch this again. I'd love to go soon.
Where can I find the music that they recorded while they were there?
nice Job. keep it simple

the woman is very talented, she sounds like a Spanish version of Lauryn Hill
It's crazy how much of an impact and influence Hip Hop has had worldwide
I remember reading about Cuba's hospitality in Mike Tyson's book. Makes you teary eye witnessing it.
Beautiful documentary, I'm Cuban and I like Hip Hop. I know some of the artists who spoke in this film.
The artist were all fire and I miss the 90's style of rap too. Good video guys.
I was watching this mini documentary this page called Havana Cultura put up on Facebook. Calle 13 did a performance down there and it was huge, and that guy el zombie that you guys were hanging out with was in it. They showed him. I took a screen shot of that part in the video I had to go back and stop the video cuz I had to remember where I had seen him haha
GREAT WATCH!!
Hot documentary fellas! This does my heart good because as a Floridian (Tallahassee) I come across the same scrutiny and negativity that yall talk about coming from others. I was not discouraged and I found myself living there for 7 years studying medicine and soaking up Cuban life, which is now a part of who I am. I love that yall studied the hip-hop angle because it is so underground but so important to the young people and slightly older ones like myself who grew up with hip-hop from the 90's. I fell in love with many cuban artists representing different genres (Danay is the truth). My exboyfriend took me to many studios very similar to Real 70. I heard so many stories about Black August from the artists and from the Black American activists that work closely with the hip-hop community and with the american students that study medicine in Havana! I always tell people when they ask me what Cuba is like, to go there and experience it for themselves. They end up loving the place just like I do and im ready to go back home! One love and never forget what you learned from your experience!
I have to admit that when I started watching I thought to myself…This is gonna b garbage….but I was wrong, actually was really good and showed the real cuba with the real cubans…great work!
This video was fucking great, but what I didn't really like is that guys didn't go to the heart of hip hop in Cuba and where it start at. So next time you guys go you should go to Alamar the heart Hip Hop in Cubano. Thanks for making this great documentary!
BEAUITFUL Absolutely amazing documentary on music and cuba. Cuba's a very musical and artful island that I will always hold dear to me.
You guys are good man! I'm glad to see my country, my culture my blood, I was born near santa fè, guanabacoa that my birthplace and I'm proud of you guys going there so nobody f told you how it is down there, respect for doing that.
Fuck me but I'm spoiled. Hats off to those making music from nothing at all.
UNEXPECTEDLY QUITE GOOD, SO GLAD I WATCHED !
Especial … lo vi desde Italia .. vivi en Santa Fe y la conclucion final resume todo el documental … Ojala lo vean todos .. Saludos .. Mandy ..
Tight work home team. I enjoyed it seeing unno go back to Cuba like the song says. As a Jamaican I did not have to experience this Social-Political struggle with my country. Cool seeing yuh fellas again E' and Anonymous. It's been a while since we've been face to face inna Kendall or Sweetwater.
I enjoyed seeing the famous Bar where Ernest Hemingway hung out he's one of my favorite Authors.
