If he had just kept driving at like, 30 mph, it honestly looks like nobody would have tried to stop him, and there wouldn't have been enough idiots that he couldn't have avoided them.
As soon as they jumped on the truck and were trying to get him to harm him, he should have dropped a couple gears and kept on going. Lots of Darwin candidates blocking the roadway.
