I first heard his voice on southpark, and when I learned he actually sang, I had to come find his stuff. I am proud to be a black woman. We touch so many people's likves, even those that are not black. His music and his legacy transcends the box everyone tried to put him into. This is great.
So smooth, so rich, so gangster trippin. The timing – the production is so perfect and sounds like** an old Lincoln going through a lit' up tunnel with white walls a bouncin to the shifts and the grades in the pavement as it rolls on at 65
A much underrated genius. So many fabulous hours I spent listening to him in the seventies and beyond. The current crop of so-called stars can’t hold a candle to this man and his music. Thanks for the wonderful memories and music.
Issac and Watt Stax was the truth back in the day…still funky in 2022……
The pant of the drums like a happy dog . . . .
That instrumental part n bass is killer
Rumor has it that this 8 track came standard in a 76 Red Eldorado with White top!
How he whispers joy, and later screams thank you baby along with that soulful beat is phenomenal!!!

Rick Ross looks just like Issac Hayes…If they didn't have Isaac's name on that cover everybody would have that was Rick Ross…
