  1. In my general expirience this cultural appropriation idea is very much an american thing. In adition i have rarly to never seen a person born in the country that is being "appropriated" being mad about it, its almost always someone born in the us with a distant relationship outside of maybe their parents and or grandparents. Or even more commonly white ladies with a saviour complex being offended on others behalf without anyone asking them to do so.

  2. Hey – is it different for somebody speaking jamaican, than mocking for example an indian accent (in english), because patois is a distinct creole language, and not “just” an accent/dialect ?

  3. I think it’s only been whyt liberals that have truly claimed to be black. That is the abusive cultural appropriation but they don’t talk much about it.
