  1. James Brown was MUCH BETTER as a member of THE FAMOUS FLAMES, than SOLO, with just his BAND . This VIDEO is the PROOF !!
Bobby Bennett, Lloyd Stallworth, and Bobby Byrd were an INCREDIBLE GROUP…and with James Brown as their Lead Singer, they were UNSTOPPABLE!!! And today, JAMES BROWN & THE FAMOUS FLAMES are ALL in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame !!

  2. NOTE TO ALL FANS BORN AFTER 1970:
This clip was from 1964. In the FIFTIES and SIXTIES
NOBODY referred to JAMES BROWN as the “godfather” of
ANYTHING. That nickname wasn’t coined until YEARS LATER.
In the 50s and 1960s, James Brown was known as…
    “ MISTER D Y N A M I T E !!”

  3. JAMES BROWN WAS MY IDOL AND I'M WHITE FROM BROWNSVILLE-BROOKLYN. IM MY YOUTH I WOULD PRACTICE HIS ROUTINE'S. GOING TO clubs during the week. Then going to clubs on the weekends and winning contest after contest. James BROWN is truly one of the kind( R.I.P. MR BROWN) PS THAT WAS MY HUSBAND AND WILL BE 75 DEC 23RD!
