Stylo G ft Shakka | “Under Construction” – A64 (Acoustic): SBTV

Stylo G and Shakka have stepped up for an electrifying live performance of ‘Under Construction’, the latest cut to be released from Stylo’s ‘Ten Years Later EP’, the release which celebrates the UK star’s ten year music career. Shot at sarm studios Notting Hill , the video features Stylo and Shakka backed by a live band; the result is a clear reminder, if one were needed, of exactly why this pair are currently at the top of their game.

Stylo recently dropped the video for another EP track, ‘Stone Cold Lover’. Filmed at The Underwater Studio, Basildon, Essex (a location used for James Bond films no less), Stylo performs most of the song underwater – an impressive feat rendered all the more incredible by the fact that he learnt to swim at the shoot itself. Directed by Kevin Hudson (Chip, Wretch 32, Bugzy Malone, Nadia Rose, Beenie Man), and produced by WY (The Motionists), the promo also features synchronised swimmers, Aquabatix (as seen on Britain’s Got Talent).

The ‘Ten Years Later EP’ features guest appearances from Beenie Man and Fanatix (‘10 Metric Ton’), Shakka and Banx & Ranx (‘Under Construction’), Nia-V and Jr Blender (‘Stone Cold Lover’), Junior Reid (‘BreadMan’), and the streaming hit with Chip, ‘Yu Ziimme’, which was championed by Nicki Minaj, and later came with an All Star VIP featuring Lisa Mercedez and Ms Banks. Off to a flying start, ‘Under Construction (feat. Shakka)’ was premiered by MistaJam on 1Xtra, and ’10 Metric Ton’ (feat. Beenie Man) was Target’s Record Of The Week (also on 1Xtra).
