I am not American, but I recon there arent a lot of black people in that party. But Abraham Lincoln was republican, right? So it is not that absurd that there are blacks there. In fact, that would make an outsider think it is thr party with most blacks. Since that is not the case, what turned them away from the republicans is probably related to tax money spread in programs for that community (wild guess). But I guess I missed the joke because of the lack of cultura background on American politics. Because honestly, what I heard of Obama was that he was the most violent president of all times bombing 7 countries. Somehow he is still the hero for the democrats? How was he for the minorities in comparison to the last republicans in power?

That’s was pretty funny at first. I was thinking it wouldn’t be. But then the same punchline just kept recycling and then I realized it was about as tone deaf as I originally thought it’d be. Still surprised they were able to get a punchline out of that.
This type of clapping reminds me of Charles Chaplin playing 'The great Dictator' when he is giving a speech to his party. I somehow doubt this is coincidence.
I work with a beautiful young black man. And he told me that if Trump runs again he's going to vote for him. And I was stunned. I thought about this video and I asked him if he was married to a white woman? And he said he was and that she was a registered Republican. And my heart sank for him and his children. Because this young man thinks he is safe from racism. He isn't and neither are his children. They're not safe from racist police officers are racist political party they are not racist from a racist government officials. They are not safe from financial institutions who can be racist. It really broke my heart.
