Malik was one of the rare rappers that could go bar to bar with black thought. I knew black was lethal when method man read his freestyle off his phone during that freestyle on sway. Anyways there’s a few songs on illadelph that Malik has the stronger verse. Thought has had the longevity but Malik was right there with him lyrically during the first two albums agree to disagree either way rip to Malik. I don’t think the average hip hop fan realizes how intelligent a real emcee is. 90s will forever be the golden era. Hip hop is a beautiful thing.

When they announced Malik B's death & that he was a founding member, I didn't know who he was.
