  1. My man Lik R. I. P Big homie the world lost another awesome soul. Great dude you were im just glad I got to see u 1last time b4 u passed on the Ave. Busting it up 4 like an hr. That's the Memory I'ma cherish 4 ever. And your soul will live on through out ROOTS music BRUAH.. Thats something that can't b taken will live on 4 ever..

  2. Malik was one of the rare rappers that could go bar to bar with black thought. I knew black was lethal when method man read his freestyle off his phone during that freestyle on sway. Anyways there’s a few songs on illadelph that Malik has the stronger verse. Thought has had the longevity but Malik was right there with him lyrically during the first two albums agree to disagree either way rip to Malik. I don’t think the average hip hop fan realizes how intelligent a real emcee is. 90s will forever be the golden era. Hip hop is a beautiful thing.

  3. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un (Arabic: إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ‎, ʾinnā li-llāhi wa-ʾinna ʾilayhi rājiʿūna) 2:156 of the Qur'an meaning "Verily we belong to Allah, and verily to Him do we return."

  4. Is it true that you were paying Malik B only $300 weekly? That was a rhetorical question. Its so sad. Its funny how quickly people forget the people who helped. I used to like the Roots. When they announced Malik B's death & that he was a founding member, I didn't know who he was. So, its sickening in death they give him credit as a founder, but in life acted as if he was nonexistent. People can be so heartless, but in due time everyone reaps what they sow. Sad.
