I am 62 years old and I'm still listening to mandrell in 2021 and I've been listening to Mandrill since 1972 or 75 and it just makes me just feel so young to listen to those gentlemen I noticed in this video I don't see cloud coffee cave the organ man//what happened to him???
Now this is what's missing today….real musicians….performing live..no audio tricks….just raw…God given talent….and no need for 10 half naked women dancing around to cover-up the fact that the talent is lacking….
I remember these guys when they started. Bass player showed up with the Mandrill album "remember these guys they got signed" They are awesome. IMO they should have been bigger than they got recognition for.
+Neftali Santiago, thank you for posting this… As a 13 year old girl in philly Mandrill, War, Kool and the Gang and Grover Washington Jr. kept my mind at peace! The compilations, musical expertise fed my craving and love for music! Kissing 60 in the lips and I still love them! Symphonic Revolution, I refuse to smile, House of wood. Hell, Just Mandrill period!
i am ;lucky I grew up on this stuff real music 70's was the creative force in the African Disapora music all over the world we were killing it and the power that be knew that
Keyboard player was feeling the funk in his hips @ 2:05. Play that funky music on the clavinet white boy. Real Music, miss the old days with real funk musicians throwing it down.

My Soul aches for this music. Every member plays 5 or 6 instruments, and can sing on top of that! Just no comparison with todays music.
fantastic live band , great musicians , unbelievable in france at the new morning , love this group
They put the stank on that

Oh, how we so adored this song back in the day in Lagos, Nigeria. No musical programme would be complete on our local Radio station without it.
