  1. Still trying to figure out what effect Hit-Boy used to make the Yo Soy Cubano sample sound different. Or if they had somebody re-record the “arinkinkin” part. Not sure how to explain it but the final version sounds slightly different than the sample used in this video.

  2. I ALWAYS mess up by goin overkill on layers n what not. This track is so perfect cuz it’s so simple. He just works the groove hard af n keeps that bounce as the real centerpiece to let Kendrick do his thing. If u listen to the instrumental, you can’t help but spit over it. THAT is how I can tell a good beat from a bad one. When flows just fly outta your mouth with ease and it’s cuz the beat, you know you got a winner.

  3. Call me crazy but the vocal sample here and in the track sound different to me. It's still the same sample, but I don't know if it's the effects they put on it after, or maybe they had to re-create it due to clearing issues. Because I went to a Kendrick concert and it didn't sound like the sample on the track. Sounds off a bit I don't know why.
