Bobby Caldwell, 1978 “What You Won’t Do for Love” first ever concert.

Bobby Caldwell, live on Miami Beach in 1978 performing his breakout hit “What You Won’t Do For Love” for the first time ever. This was the first concert I ever filmed and edited for Instant Replay video magazine owned by Chuck Azar. We went on to create a series of music videos for his first album before MTV was ever invented. Notice another legend, former Miami Beach Mayor, Leonard Haber, rocking out in the background at 2:45 in the film. He helped make Miami Beach what it is today. You can see another one of Bobby’s songs performed that day at the following link: https://youtu.be/rlNa93xCWNc

  3. what a groove; also amazed that after an excellent performance of the song, and a ripping solo, he never played a bad note and keep the feel perfectly until the conclusion of the song
