As part of our PRhyme broadcast in New York, Adrian Younge – a third of the group alongside hip-hop heavyweights DJ Premier and Royce da 5’9″ – kicked things off with a masterclass in breaks, breaks, breaks. Exclusive Premier breaks, original breaks from classic-era hip-hop history, breaks from Younge’s personal catalogue used on the PRhyme project; we had it all. Anyone care to play guess the sample?

17:46 was the sample RZA used in that one gravediggaz song
His shades are either parsol or prada's
This is finesse
He’s not even flexing, this is all (mostly) dollar bin stuff (even though it’s great). If he busted out library it’d be over.
he looks like Royce!
What happened to the Adrian Younge set from that Palm Spring party? I can't find it anymore…
I’d pay to see him do this live
Music with Soul!!
come on now this man came to dj in a suit you know he the ish
Wow, this man is an absolute genius. Since I discovered his music a couple of weeks ago I keep finding new things that pleasantly surprise me.
…..I heard some Comptons Most Wanted!……anybody can guess the break/song??….lil sample triva!
2 things!!,…..Awesome playlist/Tempo………& the Suit lets you knw its gonna be good!
I enjoy it right now with a marijuana cigar. regards Adrián young
I just like looking at the 2 turntables and the mixer…
Very cool video inspiring
Not his best set.
Adrian Younge for President!!! Thank´s Namaste!!!!!!!!! Asewe!!!!!!!!
Man…put the Stylers Dub complete version on spootify or yt …dat song is very nice! tks
Every Time Adrian plays a killer set, some "It doesn't mix" douchebag new school DJs come and comment… Well, this is how it all began. Disc Jockeys, playing music people liked, and TBH, when the musics tight, the people on the dancefloor don't care about tempo changes and transitions so much. Even DJ's like Dr Alex Paterson and suchlike would play for the crowd rather than for their software… Long live the original dancefloor DJ's
guys please whats the very first track?
What is that crumar record?
I've been listening to this for like two weeks straight
I am usually into Metal such as Jeff Loomis and Emmure… I heard one of this guys songs on Luke Cage and find myself enjoying it very much. I am a drummer… good stuff.
please the track of 3:40
i like the way he does it, keeps me on my toes and wanting more.
He is so smart
Possibly Curating as opposed to DJ'ing…nice…
20:33 fuck…drummer's heaven
fuck yeah -….. food for the soul……
thank you ….
and your proj…
love them all.
BEEN a avid fan …..
man i got high to this shit
As much as I love Adrian Younge, his work, his sampling, his production….I am somewhat disappointed by his mixing skills. Seems like he is just a studio engineer and not a "DJ" in the classic hip-hop sense.
Max Hawkins – Dhabi (Original Mix)(CR029)
Funky record selection, and respect to Adrian Young's work, but I would expect a DJ to keep the tempo, without crashing two records into each other.
Anybody know what song was being played at 15:30?
help me guys dose anyone knows the tracks at 18:50, at 20:30 and at 22:40 ?
thanks!
Saw your Soul.
