In this clip, B-Real talked about the making of “Insane in the Brain” and the track being one of Cypress Hill’s biggest hits. Vlad revealed that he was in the music video for “Insane in the Brain” and told B-Real how he managed it by using a friend’s ID.
B-Real later explained how “Insane in the Brain” was a subtle diss track aimed at Chubb Rock and Kid Frost.
It's gotta really hurt to get dissed on a track, and then that song becomes a worldwide hit. You'll be hearing it for the rest of your life. As opposed to getting dissed on a mixtape track.
B-Real asked psycho realm if he could be in there rap group.Duke & Jacken , psycho realm members said the few conditions ones was that were no N words in there songs & you have to promote & go on tour with us.B-real agreed then they made the psycho realm 1997 album.I prefer no n words in my rap songs.That’s why I stop listening to black rap when I was young.Just not my taste.I prefer brownside ,some cypress hill,shady boy,kid frost,proper dos ect…
Man it sucked being a fat kid when this song was popular. Every single time the fat boy line happened people looked at you. For me it got to where I hated when the song came on.
