Home Team – Pick It Up (HD)

A group from the early ’90s on Luke Records, Home Team surprisingly reject the usual Miami sound, opting for catchy tracks and swift, Booty-free lyrics. Still powered by ample low-end blasts, they’re more representative of Pop Rap than bass music.

  1. The instrumental for this joint lived a looong life as a club joint in Detroit. Cats would play it at 45rpm and pitched up even more from there alongside tracks like "Ass and Titties", "Hoes In This House", etc.

  2. I still like this album, though it was the Florida version of the Puff Daddy Remake method (Just take the song and put a thicker beat behind it. Cash check!).
