The fact that the Lakers were losing the game and on the last 3 minutes, Kobe made the comeback possible, on his last game, unleashing the Mamba one last time, is insane. You can’t score 60 points and then retire… RIP Kobe
You'd think they were playing for a championship in this game. In reality, it was their 17th win of the entire season. 65 losses. And in 2010, they passed up on Lebron because they had to pay Kobe's bloated salary, he wouldn't budge on anything. So they got Kobe his 60 point game, but unfortunately they could have had their third championship this year with Lebron. This was the beginning of modern diva basketball and a horrible trend for the NBA. You had a single player dismantling a three-peat dynasty so he could "win 2 on his own." Congratulations. You lost 5 rings to win 2. But as you can see, Laker fans didn't mind.
Also the beginning of the whine-fest. You're a part of a three-peat dynasty that could have won a 4th if you hadn't shot 38% from the field, only grabbed 2 boards a game, and only 4 assists a game against the Pistons. So you blame everyone and everything but your own 3rd-year guard like performance and demand the reigns to the team. And spend the next years complaining you don't have "help." But when someone starts to develop – like Bynum – you complain they're trying to steal the team from you. Only NBA player in history besides Lebron to simultaneously complain that they have too much help and no help at all, depending on what suits their needs.
For anyone wondering, the Lakers were barely over .500 with Bryant in those 12 years. Only time I've ever seen a team completely dismantle itself, come back half as strong, and celebrate anyway. They were 208-243 his last 6 years.
Imagine if the rape allegation was true…How awful that girl must feel when she sees Kobe being praise over and over? On the flip side if she lied she must've felt like dirt when Kobe passed away knowing she tried to bring down such a beloved man.
What a way to end his career. I grew up watching Kobe, this is what he did everything in this game he showed. Even tho he takes a lot of shots, he will do everything to win the game for his team .
How ironic his last play was not a shot but a pass Forever Legend in my heart. Not because he was a heavy scorer but because of who he was. What a Legend.
RIP Legend
What an incredible player and great guy! R.I.P.

after admiring MJ I start Admiring Kobe because these two have the same passion in basketball and after kobe's retired I stop watching NBA
GOAT
Kobe ending his career with a pass. Kobe pushing off in the last minute getting away with a foul just like MJ. Storybook

A fitting end to a real legend. ❤️
It never fails to make my eyes teary.
Left the game w/ 4.1 , left Earth at 41.
Mj most competitive. Kobe most determined.
You lied, it's 6 minutes.
最後相当疲れてそうなのに、素晴らし過ぎるマジで。
